Plan Your Visit

Evergreen Brick Works is in the midst of one of Canada’s busiest transportation hubs, close to downtown and surrounded by roads, railway lines and a busy expressway. But tucked away in the Don Valley’s natural surroundings, the site seems somewhat removed from the city.

The good news is that the best ways to get here are also the most sustainable. So take advantage of the site’s free shuttle bus and extensive trails that wind through Toronto’s unique ravine system.

Walk or Bike

Check out the EBW website for walking directions and bike routes.

Public Transit

Free Shuttle Bus: Take the Bloor-Danforth subway line to Broadview Station. Exit the station, walk north to the parkette on Erindale Avenue to the dedicated Evergreen Shuttle Bus stop. The Evergreen Shuttle Bus is free and it departs every 30–45 minutes. See the full shuttle schedule.

TTC: On Saturdays and Sundays, the TTC’s 28A bus runs from Davisville station to Evergreen Brick Works every half hour. Please note the Sunday bus runs from May 12 to September 2.

By Car

From Downtown: It is easiest to access Bayview Avenue from River Street, which runs north from King Street and joins Bayview just north of Gerrard Street.

From the Don Valley Parkway: Take the exit for Bloor Street/Bayview Avenue and head north on Bayview for 300 metres until you come to Evergreen Brick Works.

From the Danforth/East York: Take Pottery Road to Bayview Avenue and turn south.

Parking fees: Daily parking rate is $6 weekdays, $8 weekends, or $1.50 per half hour. Evergreen is a charitable organization and parking fees support our community programming.

On Saturday mornings until 1pm, parking is in high demand due to our weekly Farmers’ Market. Please consider an alternative mode of transportation at that time.
