Plan Your Visit
Evergreen Brick Works is open year-round. Summer activities are underway, and in September 2010 we will celebrate the grand opening with a suite of new features.
Visit our Calendar of Events for details. Evergreen Brick Works is a hive of environmentally friendly activity for the whole family–there’s always something going on for gardeners, food aficionados, cyclists, photographers, and nature lovers. In addition to our programs, we invite you to “BYOPicnic,” to simply come and wander, enjoying a refreshing summer afternoon surrounded by nature.
So bring your kids, bring a friend, and pack a picnic to enjoy some quality time under our Pavilions, walking through the Don Valley Brick Works Park or meandering through our gardens. Evergreen Gardens is open as well so you can take home some native plants and veggies for your own patch of green. But don’t forget, as an environmental community centre our aim is to be as waste free as possible. So please, take out what you took in.
Making the site accessible is a critical hurdle for Evergreen to overcome. Read more about our transportation strategy on our blog.
