Farmers' Market Carpool Zone

carpool

We know that hauling bags of groceries around on the bus or a bike can be difficult.

If biking, walking or taking transit to the Farmers' Market are not an option for you, the Carpool Zone offers you the opportunity to share a ride instead. You'll save time, gas and money and enhance our mutual goal of making our food systems more sustainable. You may even make a new friend along the way!

What is Carpool Zone?

Carpool Zone is a free online service that allows you to find matches and share a ride to locations all over the city, including Evergreen Brick Works.

How Does it Work?

  1. Visit the Smart Commute website to sign up and get started. Registration is free.
  2. Create a "trip" by filling in your "trip information." Regular visitors should choose "every week at these times" and select Saturdays when creating a trip.

You can watch the Smart Commute demonstration video for more detailed directions.
