Guided Walking Tours
Saturday and Sunday
1:30–2:30pm
Free!
Let us show you around! Join us every Saturday and Sunday afternoon to learn the story of Evergreen Brick Works and answer to the question: “What is this place?” Discover how a Canadian charity reclaimed and revitalized a former industrial site after nearly two decades of abandonment into an award-winning environmental community centre and green technology showcase.
Tours are general in nature and focus on a variety of themes including: the natural, geologic, and historic significance of the site, art, adaptive reuse and green design, as well as how Evergreen’s mission is reflected in our spaces and programs.
Tours meet in the Young Welcome Centre and take place rain or shine.
Stay tuned for upcoming themed tours led by experts in various aspects of the site.
