DIY Workshops, supported by The Home Depot, are weekly one-hour demonstrations by our Evergreen Garden Market staff on small home projects featuring green design, sustainable gardening solutions and simple home construction.
June 1 & 2: Pollinator & Bird Habitat
More than just bees! A pollinator is an animal or insect that causes plants to make fruit or seeds. They do this by moving pollen from one part of the flower of a plant to another part. Insects and animals such as bees, hummingbirds and some butterflies are the best kinds of pollinators. Let us show you the best plants to plant to attract pollinators to your garden.

Worms! Is your green bin in your kitchen getting full? Do you want to learn how to make soil to grow better veggies and plants? Do you want to see redworms turn your kitchen scraps into nutritious soil for your garden? Come join us and learn how to create your very own home composter and have fun with your kids watching the redworms work!
