A community bike space at Evergreen Brick Works, Bike Works has the tools and knowledge to get you tuned-up and ready to ride, with weekend workshops, drop-in DIY bike repairs and rentals.

Bike Workshops

Bring your bike and Learn to Ride Toronto’s trails and roads, and keep your wheels in tip-top shape at Biking Basics. Check out our workshop page for more information.

Drop-in DIY Bike Repairs

Drop by the shop and use our tools to keep your bike in top performance—from fixing a flat to adding all-weather accessories. Skilled volunteers and staff are always on hand to share what they have learned and give advice. New parts are sold at retail costs and used parts are by donation, PWYC.

1-hour rental rates:
1 Bike $14 | 2 Bikes $25 | 3 Bikes $35 | 4 Bikes $45
PLUS $2 EXTRA FOR EACH ADDITIONAL HOUR

Bike Donations

Give your old bike some new love and donate it to Evergreen! We will give it a tune-up and pass it along to someone in our community who needs it. To arrange pick-up or drop-off, please contact us at bikeworks@evergreen.ca.

Community Building

Bike Works engages local partners and the cycling community at large to ensure that bicycles are a healthy part of our collective community infrastructure. Through bike clinics, safety and mechanics workshops, we're working hard to build community with bicycles as a vehicle and tool.

Join the Team

Become a Bike Works Community Builder and help out at the shop, receive mechanics training, support DIY hubs around the city, lead rides and enjoy access to our various bike resources. Volunteers will need to complete a series of training modules held on Tuesday evenings, plus commit to volunteering at Bike Works during shop hours at least twice a month as well as at other events on occasion. Visit our Get Involved pages for more volunteer opportunities at Bike Works and beyond.
