Bike Works
Bike Works is a community bike space at Evergreen Brick Works. The space is open to the public on weekends for DIY repairs and Bike Rentals. We also offer weekly Bike Mechanics Workshops to give you the basics in bike maintenance.
How we get around town is a big part of how we green our city. We promote human-powered transportation to access Evergreen Brick Works by holding bike events, offering bicycle safety workshops and bike-repair workshops. Read our blog post for more on our transportation strategy.
Drop-in DIY Bike Repairs
April 23–October 31, 2011
Saturdays and Sundays 10am–4pm
Cost: Pay What You Can plus parts, Suggested donation of $7 per hour
Bike Works will be open to the public for DIY repairs and bike rentals. Bring your bike by the shop, and we’ll provide the space and the tools. We'll also have helpful volunteers on hand to assist you!
Bike Rentals
1 bike: $14 for 1 hour + $2 for each additional hour
2 bikes: $25 for 1 hour + $2 per bike for each additional hour
3 bikes: $35 for 1 hour + $2 per bike for each additional hour
4 bikes: $45 for 1 hour + $2 per bike for each additional hour
Helmets: $4 (Free for youth under 18)
Help us set up the space: Do you have an old bike that is collecting dust in your garage or taking up room in your basement or storage space? Donate it to Evergreen.
