It’s time to slow down and spend some time creating together—upcycling everyday objects into useful and creative art! Come by the eco-crafts table to make your own wonderful crafts and contribute to the communal mural! Kids of all ages are welcome, and must be accompanied by an adult.
Monday, March 12
Toilet Paper Rhythm: Use toilet paper rolls to make rhythm shakers and animals of all sorts.
Tuesday, March 13
Decorative Bowls: Using egg cartons, kids will get messy and create bowls to decorate and make their own. Bowls will be crafted and shaped on Tuesday, and you can return on Friday to paint your dry crafts!
Wednesday, March 14
Plantable Paper: Using old egg cartons, kids will make paper embedded with flower petals and seeds—the perfect Earth Day card, that can then be planted (instead of put in the recycling bin), resulting in beautiful flowers in the Spring!
Thursday, March 15
Bookmarks: Using recycled paper and found pages, kids will make their own bookmarks for their favourite reads.
Friday, March 16
Open Craft Bonspeil: Kids can return to finish their products and use their imagination to make something new.
