Celebrate Nature and Imagination

Tickets are now sold out!

Friends,

This year, Evergreen’s Wild in the City kicks off the Grand Opening of Evergreen Brick Works with a party celebrating the many ways nature and imagination intersect to bring a city to life. Leading artists, musicians and chefs will come together to create one of the city’s most dynamic evenings in support of one of Canada’s most dynamic new environmental and cultural institutions, Evergreen Brick Works.

On September 23, 2010, we invite you to join us and 500 other friends of Evergreen for this epochal event. Come be part of the unveiling of an international centre dedicated to leadership in urban sustainability, civic engagement, youth programming, education, artistic expression, and discovery. All part of Toronto’s—and Canada’s—Greener Future.

Proceeds from the evening will go to support access to our innovative education program for all Toronto’s children to connect, play and learn from nature.

Of course, because it is Evergreen Brick Works, it will be an evening of local culinary discoveries, featuring a spectacular multicourse dinner prepared by an impressive lineup of 10 of Toronto’s leading local food chefs: Brad Long, Jamie Kennedy, Anthony Rose, Anthony Walsh, Paul Boehmer, Joshna Maharaj, Michael Steh, Donna Dooher, Bettina Schorman, Kevin McKenna and with a spectacular reception catered by Afrim Pristine of the Cheese Boutique. Naturally, the best of local wines will highlight each course.

As in previous years, expect the unexpected!

Evening Program:

  • 6:00pm–7:00pm: Cocktails and Entertainment by iDrum. Appetizers by Cheese Boutique and Brad Long
  • 7:05pm: Heritage Kiln Building Reveal
